First Steps Himalaya improves early years education in rural schools in Nepal and builds resilience of entire communities.
Help us expand even further, to improve the quality of education in villages all across Nepal.
All over Nepal, children are receiving sub-standard education in dilapidated classrooms from untrained and demotivated teachers.
This poor education leaves the children with limited life skills, vulnerable to exploitation and very likely to be stuck in a cycle of poverty and limited opportunities.
We want to break that cycle and provide opportunities to these children to change their future through a quality education.
To achieve this we train teachers in contemporary child friendly teaching methods that vastly improves the educational outcomes for the children in their care.
