Many rural Nepali children have never experienced quality early education – safe buildings, stocked with educational materials and a well-trained teacher to lead the class are luxuries they just can’t access.
With help from hundreds of generous donors, First Steps Himalaya is able to work in classrooms and schools across rural Nepal. We work to create child-friendly classrooms that are clean, well-resourced and conducive to learning. We provide practical hands-on teacher training to create skilled and passionate teachers. These wonderful teachers are then capable of stimulating and fostering a love of learning in their young students.
